Pennzoil “Mario Kart Reimagined”

In partnership with a incredibly talented cross-functional Client and Inter-agency team, Lindsey oversaw the negotiation, development and execution of Pennzoil’s SXSW sponsorship and award-winning “Mario Kart Reimagined” experience.
In support of Pennzoil’s most innovative new product ever, we partnered with Nintendo and brought to life one of the world's most popular games at SXSW and ended up generating over 1-billion earned media impressions. We brought the real-life event to the national stage with the late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and created personalized karting videos for all live attendees to drive organic social sharing. The event was deemed one of the most successful product launches in the history of SXSW and awarded Adweek Media Plan Idea of the Year.
